The Jewish Historical Museum is presenting the exhibition Modern Masterpieces from Moscow. This is a unique opportunity to see a collection of paintings and drawings by influential and innovative Russian Jewish atrists from the period 1910-1940. The exhibition sketches the rise and fall of Jewish atrists in the Soviet Union during the Stalin era. Most of the works have never been seen in the Netherlands before. The works in the exhibition are on loan from the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery and the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum in Moscow.

Pop Art Portraits
Die Staatsgalerie Stuttgart präsentiert erstmals eine umfassende Ausstellung über Pop-Art-Porträts, die in Zusammenarbeit mit der National Portrait Gallery, London entstand. In der breit angelegten Schau werden Bilder von den Anfängen der Pop-Art in den frühen 1950er Jahren bis hin zu ihrer Ausprägung als internationales Phänomen um 1965 präsentiert. Im Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung stehen Bilder von Elvis Presley und Marilyn Monroe, die längst zu Ikonen der modernen Kunst zählen. Werke namhafter Künstler wie Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Hamilton, Robert Rauschenberg und Jasper Johns sind in der Ausstellung vertreten.
The Culture Resort of the Jiang's Audio tour
TAIWANThe resort is established for the two former President Jiang who contributed much for the development of Taiwan. The resort includes several areas and usually takes two hours for visitors to finish the tour. Visitors can see historical photos, documents and objects, and also view natural scenery at the same time. Supported by a dozen or so domestic businesses, the TPC Corp. was fortunate to have local and international experts in charge of the planning, and world-class architect C.Y. Lee was responsible for the design of the project. The design transcends the uni-body concept and is based on the Chinese number 8, a numeral long considered lucky in Chinese culture. eight-floor structural units are connected one by one on top of each other to form the whole. This kind of rythmic aesthetic is new to skyscrapers.

Jane Austen was one of Bath's most famous residents and two of her novels are mostly set in Bath, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. This tour takes you around the highlights of the city and includes extracts from Jane Austen's novels and letters, which brilliantly describe Bath as it would have been in its Georgian heyday.
