Espro Acoustiguide unveils next generation of interpretive guides;

Delighted to announce the launch of the OPUS series - a revolutionary family of handheld interpretive guides with audio, image and video capabilities

Espro Acoustiguide is delighted to announce the launch of the OPUS series – a revolutionary family of handheld interpretive guides with audio, image and video capabilities.

OPUS consists of two units, OPUS CLICK - a keypad-driven guide, and OPUS TOUCH - a touchscreen guide, and has been developed in close collaboration with the museum and heritage market to satisfy its growing need to deliver media-rich content to visitors in a reliable and easy-to-use format.

Key features include:

·          Revolutionary Dual-Use Design
·          Wand or Headset Use
·          Keypad or Touchscreen versions
·          Superb Sound Quality
·          Positioning and Orientation
·          Full Colour Screen for:
o             Video
o             Photos
o             Graphics
o                 Maps

Both units have a sleek modern look, full colour screens and a revolutionary design which incorporates an extendable speaker, creating a single unit that can truly be used either as a wand or headset player.

In its closed format the unit is compact and is used with headsets. Alternatively, the unit can be transformed into a wand by extending the internal speaker from the back of the unit, creating a longer player which is comfortable to use as a wand for extended periods of time.  As a result, OPUS is the first interpretive guide to offer clients the flexibility of a compact player and a long wand player within one unit.

OPUS has a large expandable memory capable of delivering audio, image and video content of the highest quality. Audio can be listened to via the high performance internal speaker or through stereo headsets or single earpieces. Images and video are reproduced with great clarity on a full colour high resolution screen. The units are lightweight and simple to use, and incorporate the very latest technology which can provide a range of advanced features to help clients manage their sites and deliver content in innovative ways.

The units, which will be available from the autumn of this year, have already created considerable interest and in the pre-launch period Acoustiguide is pleased to announce that two major new clients, Westminster Abbey in London and the Sears Tower in Chicago have pre-ordered OPUS for their sites.
